Dear Professors, 
 

You are cordially invited to join us at the Third Annual Chicago Area Undergraduate Research Symposium (CAURS) to be held on Saturday, ____________, at Loyola University's Loop Campus in downtown Chicago. The symposium is a collaboration between the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois at Chicago, Loyola University Chicago, DePaul University, Illinois Institute of Technology and Northwestern University and reflects each university's commitment to promoting undergraduate research in the sciences both within and beyond academia. 
 

Our committee requests that you consider participating in this event as a judge to rate the quality of the poster as well as oral presentations that are presented at this event by undergraduate students. 

The presentations are divided into two categories. 

First, there will be a poster session from ________________, where we anticipate over ____ presentations.  Ideally, we would like to have judges for this session to register at the symposium by _______.  These will be followed by selected oral presentations from ____________, and preferred registration for judges would be at ______________.   
 

You may choose either one of the sessions, or both.  There is no set number of students to which the judges will be responsible. For further details about this symposium, please visit www.caurs.com.
